HI-Traditional Ecological Knowledge
The 10th Annual 2024 Black Sustainability Summit will take attendees to Ghana, West Africa in 2025 as we partner with local BSN members who are bridging global solutions.
To culminate a decade of immersive education, the Black Sustainability Network (BSN) is gathering for knowledge exchange among global leaders at the annual Black Sustainability Summit. We will meet in Ghana West Africa for a Hi-TEK Learning Journey and tour starting at the Kweku Andoh Sustainability Institute (KASI) in collaboration with HABESHA, Inc.’s Dzodzome Festival on Oct.15-27, 2025.
The Black Sustainability Hi-TEK (High Traditional Ecological Knowledge) Learning Journey offers a chance for local and international attendees to exchange indigenous wisdom and modern strategies to address global climate issues rooted in Afrikan culture. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with leaders, practitioners and take a sustainability tour of local Ghanaian projects that highlight the intersection of heritage and innovation, fostering impactful solutions for environmental and social sustainability worldwide.
Join us this fall on our mission to preserve and build sustainable communities throughout the Afrikan diaspora and the continent!

Impact investments, such as yours, are investments made with the intention to generate positive, measurable social and environmental impact. The funds received are either DONATED and then granted equally across the projects we highlight each year, OR upon investor request, distributed specifically to a project in which they desire to support. If funds are specifically earmarked for a project, the ROI is determined by the investor and the recipient before funds are distributed.

ROI can be as simple as an agreement or MOU that outlines how the funds will be used and what the investor expects in return. Once an agreement is reached, a letter confirming the details of the investment and ROI expected are emailed to both parties. Because receipt of funds by Black Sustainability Network does not guarantee an agreement will be reached, all funds are held between 15-30 business days until both parties reach an agreement. If one cannot be reached investors receive 90% of funds back and are charged a 10% administrative fee, not to exceed $200.
